Tiny Eden Soil Guide: All 7 Components
Soil is the deepest system in Tiny Eden. The developer FAQ published on 4 May 2026 spells out exactly what it models: seven agricultural components, a set of chemical and physical parameters, and four ways a mix degrades or gets boosted over time.
The seven components

What a mix is measured on

These are not cosmetic stats. Plants consume nutrients as they grow, so a mix that started balanced drifts as the crop matures — and the drift is what the next section is about.
What changes your soil over time

The practical shortcut most new players miss
You do not have to throw away a badly mixed pot. The trowel removes the plant on the first pass and the soil itself on the second, so you can empty a planter of sand and compost and start the mix again — a developer-confirmed answer to one of the most repeated launch-week questions. Why the system is this deep
Because it is not invented. Bajka Games built Tiny Eden after experimenting with urban farming in a Warsaw apartment through the pandemic, and the FAQ is blunt about the design rule: “if we've tried it in real life, it made its way into the game.” The studio also says the growing model aims to stay scientifically accurate enough that the same techniques work on a real windowsill. That is the reason real gardening knowledge is a genuine advantage here — the developers say so outright.
