Tiny Eden FAQ
All Questions
What is Tiny Eden?
Tiny Eden is a cozy first-person farming sim by Polish studio Bajka Games, published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. You turn a small apartment in a futuristic city into an indoor garden, cook what you grow, and sell the dishes to your neighbours. It launched as a full 1.0 release on 7 September 2026 at $14.99, with no Early Access period.
Is it Tiny Eden or Tidy Eden?
Tiny Eden. 'Tidy Eden' is a common mis-hearing and gets searched several hundred times a month, but there is no game by that name. It is also not related to Garden of Eden, East of Eden or Little Eden, which are separate results that share the word.
Does Tiny Eden use generative AI?
Bajka Games has not published a statement either way, and as of 8 September 2026 the Steam store page carries no AI Generated Content Disclosure section — the box Valve requires developers to fill in when generative AI is used in a shipped game. That is the only verifiable signal available; you can check it yourself on the store page. The studio has said the game grew out of the team's own urban-farming experiments in a Warsaw apartment during the pandemic.
Is the Tiny Eden demo safe to download?
Yes — it is a standard Steam demo distributed by the publisher through Steam, not a third-party download. The one real caution is save compatibility: do not continue a demo or playtest save into 1.0. The developers confirmed continuing is heavily bugged, and Update #1 dropped support for saves older than version 0.10.0 entirely.
How much does Tiny Eden cost?
$14.99 USD at full price, with a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks after release. Regional pricing was published by the studio ahead of launch.
Is Tiny Eden multiplayer or co-op?
No. Steam lists it as Single-player only, with no co-op, multiplayer or crossplay categories. Players can share plant varieties they have bred, but there is no shared session.
Is Tiny Eden coming to PS5, Xbox or Switch?
No console version has been announced. Every platform line in the developer's own posts reads Steam / PC, and the store page lists Windows and Linux only. There is a Linux build with published SteamOS and Ubuntu requirements.
Does Tiny Eden work on the Steam Deck?
The official statements contradict each other. The May 2026 developer FAQ answers 'Yes'. The July demo post says the demo 'does not officially support the Steam Deck' and that no Deck optimisations had been made, and the earlier playtest post said 'Not supported'. Valve has published no Deck compatibility rating for the game. The Linux requirements — Vulkan 1.3 with mesh shader support — are technically met by the Deck's RDNA 2 hardware. See the platforms page for the full timeline.
Does Tiny Eden have controller support?
Not officially. The Steam store page carries neither the Full nor the Partial Controller Support category, and controller support is an open request thread on the discussion board rather than a shipped feature.
Where is the official Tiny Eden Discord?
Bajka Games links it from every announcement: discord.gg/tinyedengame. The studio credits Discord and the Steam Discussions as the sources for Update #1, and developers reply on the Steam board within hours during launch week. The team also posts as @TinyEdenGame on X, TikTok and Instagram.
How many plants and recipes are in the game?
Around 40 plant species in the base game — microgreens, root vegetables, flowers and berry bushes — and at least 40 recipes. Mushrooms, vines and trees are the studio's stated expansion plan, without dates. No complete species list has been published.
Can I sell raw crops instead of cooking them?
Not in version 1.0. Only cooked dishes can be sold. The developers have said they are open to adding raw crops or seedlings later, but nothing has been committed.
Why won't my grow light or cooling fan attach?
The planter is too small. Clip-on add-ons only fit the larger 4x4 planters — the size that holds onions — and only while the plant is still at the shoot stage. The Castor line, used for shallow-rooted crops like bell peppers and cucumbers, is the lowest tier that takes them; the three starter planters never will.
How do I remove a dead or wilting plant?
You need the trowel from the shop; there is no starting tool that does it. Aim at the plant or the soil rather than at the planter, and hold the left mouse button. Running the trowel over the pot a second time removes the soil as well, so you can re-mix it for a different crop.
Is there a game over in Tiny Eden?
No. The developers confirmed there is no game over and no time pressure. You can run out of money, and recovering from it is easy. Time runs at a 60:1 ratio — one real second to one in-game minute.
